Sun Prairie Optimist Club Student of the Month

Bringing Out the Best in Kids
The Youth of the Month program has been in existence for over 15 years and has honored on average 20 or more high school students annually.

With the assistance of Nancy Everson, Sun Prairie High School teacher and advisor, the selection process is based on the intent to recognize exceptional students who have not received honors by traditional means.

These students are involved in activities and programs that may be unique or innovative, not the typical sports or academic endeavors.  The program has proved very successful and has provided many outstanding programs for our club.
